There was once a time, and you'll still see evidence of it, when it was "cool" to say you had a dark soul, or that you had no soul at all. Why were people bragging about having no soul? In some cultures, that's a very serious accusation. But it was during a time when self-deprecating humor was considered cute and made people — especially celebrities — seem relatable. At one point, the word "adorkable" was used a lot to describe people like that. But thank goodness that time of internet history is behind us.
Since your soul is so important to who you are, it's nice to have another being that you feel really reflects it. The various horse breeds around the world are perfect for this role. Horses are strong, powerful and downright beautiful. Of course, some come with more hardships than others, but you know what? So do people! I like to lift others up, but not by sacrificing anything for myself.

Trying to relate to others.
Being there for people who are hurting.

I'm very skeptical at first.
I try to, but don't always.
Even then I still trust people.

I like to find the balance.

It's a hard thing to learn, but I'm getting there.
I usually feel bad about it, but I can if I have to.

Nope, I'm good with speaking.
It probably does, now that I think about it.

It is nice to be told you did a good job.
I learned a long time ago you can't rely on that.
That does tend to validate me.

Being able to show emotion is actually a sign of strength.
In myself I do, but not others.

If it's for something I know a lot about.
They can, but sometimes I just make things up.

If I'm feeling especially generous.

Any job that lets me work with other people
