We might comment on each other's makeup when it looks particularly cool, but we don't talk much about routines. We do like to keep up with industry gossip, though.
It's about all we talk about besides our love/sex lives, current events, and other personal topics.
No, we're pretty secretive about our routines because we've each put a lot of work into research and development.
They know more than me, so they are usually up for answering any questions I might have.

How many times a day do you reapply make up?
I might freshen up around lunch or so.
Around four times, but it could be more depending on how long the day is and if I'm going out that night, etc.

I don't wear makeup every day, but when I do, I usually don't re-apply it.

Do you ever leave home without freshening up?
Maybe if I'm running out on a quick errand, but only under those sorts of circumstances.
No, if I'm going out for any reason, I always look my best.
I typically always freshen up, but if I'm just running out on an errand, then I don't go out of my way to fix up my hair.
As long as I'm clothed and dressed for the weather, I'm good with going out to do whatever.

Is skincare important to you?
Important enough for me to apply lotion every day.
Is breathing important to me? Of course it is, and of course, caring for my skin - the substance that holds my organs inside my body - is important to me!
Yes, I have a whole daily multi-step skincare routine.
I don't think much about it unless my skin is paper dry.

Do you go out of your way to ensure you get enough beauty sleep?
I make sure to get at least 6-7 hours.
Yes, I require an absolute minimum of 8 hours beauty sleep, and I prefer to sleep for 10. Ideally, I'd spend at least 12 hours resting a day.
I plan my schedule around set bed and wake times so that I get up to 9 hours but usually around 7 hours of beauty sleep.
I try my best to get full 7-8 hours, but life usually happens and I end up with quite a bit less. I wouldn't say I go out of my way.

How would you feel if you had to answer the door while wearing a thick face mask?
I wouldn't be happy about it, but it's just a face mask.
That's simply unacceptable. I wouldn't answer the door, or I'd try to get the dog to answer it.
I'd feel unbelievably embarrassed and would come up with an excuse to explain my face.
I don't wear face masks, so this wouldn't be a problem.

Do you go to specialty stores to buy your beauty products?
For a few certain products, yes, but for the majority of my beauty supply needs, no.
I wouldn't be able to find the products I need anywhere else.
I usually buy my products online.
I buy my beauty supplies at large general merchandise markets.

Yes, but only because the product was exceptionally poor or well made and I felt strongly about it.
I review pretty much every beauty product I purchase. I've even been offered free products in exchange for my review or opinion.
Sure, if I try something new and like it, I might review it.
Nope, I've never even thought to.

About how long does it take you to remove your make up?
About half an hour.
Around an hour or so, not including my revitalizing and exfoliating routine.
Less than 15 minutes.
Sometimes I wait until the next day's shower to wash off my makeup.

Do you ever layer your eyeliner?
Nope, but it's something I've been thinking about doing.
What's the point in even applying eyeliner if you're not going to put the effort into layering it?
For certain occasions, like dates and events, sure, but it's not an every day thing.
I didn't realize it could be layered. Does it have a 3-D sort of texture to it?

What do you consider "bumming it?"
Jeans, t-shirt, no makeup, and hair doing whatever it wants to do.
At night when I'm in my pajamas after removing my makeup is as close to "bumming it" as I get.
Jeans/leggings, hair up, basic makeup, t-shirt.
Sweat pants, t-shirt, casual shoes, untidy hair, no makeup or hair products.

How long does it take you to pick out your everyday outfits?
About 15-20 minutes, give or take.
I spend at least an hour planning out options and deciding on an outfit.
Around half an hour to 45 minutes, depending on how my hair looks that day.
I wear whatever is easiest to grab and also comfortable.

Only a small number of times, and I've changed since.
Anyone who actually knows what they're doing would not say that to me. Everyone who disagrees is irrelevant and frankly, wrong.

What would you do if your dog ate your eyeshadow palette right before a big date/event/interview/etc?
I'd try to find a substitute or make a desperate quick purchase if possible.
I always have a spare or two in case of situations just like this.
Panic and maybe cry before canceling the date/interview/etc.
I'd be annoyed at the mess, but it's otherwise no big deal. Eyeshadow isn't an absolute must-have.

Does it take you awhile to decide on what jewelry pieces to wear?
Sometimes it takes me awhile to decide if I should even wear jewelry, but after that the deciding gets easier.
Yes, there's so much to consider. Like necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, other piercings, and so on.
Only when it comes to special events, like formal get-togethers.
I wear the same pair of earrings over and over again. Nothing to decide.

A normal sized purse big enough for a clutch wallet and other small items.
Huge! It has to be big enough to fit all my backup supplies.
