Calling all mathletes! 1 + 1 = 2 is certainly an easy math problem, but you won't find it on this quiz! Today you'll be dealing with all-odd answers! Only a math genius can score at least 85 percent on this quiz. When the answer has to be 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9, can you prove that you really are a math genius?

Math might be one of the most complicated subjects that students are forced to deal with during their education. We all begin with addition and subtraction before branching out into multiplication and division. Math education soon moves on to exponents. The information seems to grow and then it is applied to certain subjects. You might start off with algebra before moving on to geometry and trigonometry. Those who are really advanced, they might find themselves applying their knowledge to calculus. While calculus is for a whole different group of geniuses, today we're sticking with algebra. Can you solve all these algebra questions with their all-odd answers?

It's easier than you think! Subtract 2 from both sides to get that x = 3.

# 45,000/x = 9,000

To solve this, you would first multiply both sides of the equation by x to get 45,000 = 9,000x. You would then divide both sides of the equation by 9,000 to get x = 5.

# x + 45 = 54

Subtract 45 from both sides to get x = 9!

# 17 - x = 10

Add x to both sides of the equation before subtracting 10 from both sides. You'll get the solution that x = 7.

# 3x ___= 27

Divide both sides of the equation by 3 to get that x = 9.

# 9/x = 9

Multiply both sides of the equation by x. You'll have 9 = 9x. Divide both sides by 9 to get x = 1.

# 5x ___ = 35

Divide both sides of the equation by 5 to get x = 7.

# 4x ___ - 19 = 1

Add 19 to both sides to get 4x = 20. Then divide by 4 to get x = 5.

In order for the equation to = 1, x has to equal 1!

Divide both sides of the equation by 8 to get that x = 7.

Add 9 to both sides and then divide by 3 to get that x is equal to 3.

First subtract three from both sides to get 27/x = 3. Multiply both sides by x before dividing both sides by 3. X will equal 9.

# 9x ___ + 6 = 51

First, you'll start off by subtracting 6 from both sides of the equation. Then you'll have 9x = 45. Divide both sides of the equation by 9 to get that x = 5!

# 11/x = 11

Any number divided by 1 is itself so this answer has the simple solution of 1!

# 112 - x = 109

Add x to both sides of the equation before subtracting 109 from both sides. This will give you that x = 3.

# 15 = 22 - x

Add x to both sides of the equation before subtracting 15. You'll get that x = 7.

# 36,000/x = 4,000

First multiply both sides by x to get 36,000 = 4,000x. Divide both sides by 4,000 to get x = 9.

# 112 - x = 111

Subtract x from both sides of the equation before subtracting 111. You should get that x = 1!

# x + 38 = 41

For this answer, all you have to do is subtract 38 from both sides of the equation to get that x = 3.

# 5x - 9 = 6

First, you'll have to add 9 to both sides of the equation. Then you'll have 5x = 15. Divide both sides by 5 and you'll get 3.

First subtract 9 from both sides to get 45/x = 9. Multiply both sides by x before dividing by 9 to get x = 5!

Add x to both sides of the equation before subtracting 28. Then you'll get x = 7.

Divide both sides of the equation by 12 to get that x = 108.

Subtract 7 from both sides of the equation before dividing by 7. You should get x = 9!

Subtract 3 from both sides of the equation to get that x = 3.

Multiply both sides by x before dividing by 8,000. You should get the solution that x = 7.

Add 7 to both sides of the equation before dividing by 7. Then you'll get that x = 1.

Subtract 46 from both sides of the equation to get the solution that x = 5.
