About This Quiz

The nineties has often been called the best decade ever. Throughout that period, there was a rise in different types of music, like hip-hop and punk rock and fashion, as well as athletes like Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky. In the political realm, Bill Clinton was elected as President of the United States, and a few years later, the Lewinsky scandal erupted.  In that same time period, Nelson Mandela was freed from jail and elected as the first black President of South Africa.

Many successful musicians and celebrities also rose to fame during those years, some of whom include the Backstreet Boys, the Spice Girls, Avril Lavigne and Mariah Carey. There were also many fads, some of which were Beanie Babies, tattoo chokers, Lisa Frank, Neopets, gel pens and Tamagotchis.
