About This Quiz

What would the world be without vehicles today? While we can say people in general may have been a bit healthier, we can also say that we would be nowhere near as advanced as we are. Back in 1903, a man by the name of Henry Ford launched his automotive company with just $28,000 (which admittedly, was a lot, at the time) and the help of a dozen investors, one of which was Horace Dodge (who later went on to found his own automotive company). Within its first few years, Ford was credited with improving the assembly line concept. Ford Motor Company, shortened to just Ford, would go on to become one of the most successful vehicle brands in the world, starting out with its incredibly popular Model T, to the F-150.

Kia Motor Corporation, on the other hand, is native to South Korea, where it is currently the second-largest vehicle manufacturer, after Hyundai (which owns about one-third of Kia). The company was founded in 1944 by a then steel tubing and bicycle parts company, Kyungsung Precision Industry, which officially changed its name to Kia Industries in 1952. What many people don't know is that Kia had a brief partnership with Ford back in the day and they collaborated on the Ford Festiva (as it was called in Australia) and the Kia Pride (in Europe), as well as the Ford Aspire (in North America) and the Kia Avella (in South Korea).

Now that you're up to speed on Ford and Kia's beginnings, have you seen enough of their evolution to differentiate them today? Good luck!
