About This Quiz

Does the Bible have you walking through shadowed valleys? Let's shed some light on it! The Bible is the most used sacred text around the world. With over 2.1 billion followers of Christianity and 14 million followers of Judaism, this population is approximately 30% of the world's population. It's no wonder when you go to a hotel, you'll often find a Bible in the night stand! When it comes to the Bible, it is split into two sections, the Old Testament and the New Testament. While the New Testament is solely observed by Christians, the Old Testament is a group of texts followed by both Christians and Jews.

The Old Testament is a collection of books that begins with the creation story. Listed in the Torah or Pentateuch, you'd find Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. With four other major sections, you'd find the historical books, wisdom books, major prophets, and minor prophets, but the wisdom books is what brings us here today! Called the Tehillim in the Hebrew Bible, Psalms is the second book in this section. Coming to mean "a sacred song or hymn," many of these psalms have been put to music. The writing of most of them have also been attributed to King David, who was known for playing his harp. With 150 psalms to choose from, can you complete 35 of the most popular ones? Let's find out!
