About This Quiz

Can you hear me now? GOOD! In the world of cellphones, you probably couldn't say this back in the 1970s and 1980s. As time progressed, cellphones would go to become more sophisticated. With all the phones that have gone down in history, can we guess your very first one?

The first cellphone was created by Martin Copper, an employee of Motorola, in 1973. In the 45 years that cellphones have been around, they've changed and gained a sophistication that most people never expected.

The evolution of cellphones begins with the "brick phone." The Motorola DynaTAC, it was the length of most people's heads with a long antenna to go with it. Phones would then evolve to the slightly smaller "clam shell," and the even smaller "candy bar."

As time evolved, there was a series of phones that everyone had to have. People were flocking to phone stores for the Nokia 6000 series. Everyone was flipping to Motorola RAZR. A growing number of people were opting for a QWERTY keyboard with the Sidekick. Which of these phones was your first?

If you were shopping in the early 2000s, you might've chosen a RAZR or Blackberry. For those who started later, you might've had the iconic iPhone. As time has evolved, can we guess the first cellphone you ever had?
